No Bro, There's no official method to downgrade

But,We can when we have root,But,I don't recommend you to do this unless you are a developer

Factory Reset will solve Overheating issue by a fair margin. Also since your OS is changing after the update so in my opinion we should reset out phones even if you aren't facing any problem. And in Oreo there are some major changes to the system so it is highly recommended to factory reset. No need to reset from recovery mode, resetting from Settings will also do. Now regarding battery drain, again due to OS change. It takes time for Android to get along with the battery to become normal due to all the optimizations that are continuously going on in the background but after 1 or 2 days you get to see the real battery life.

Initially after resetting the phone will heat because many things are going in background at once. After everything has finished setting up you will definitely see improvements, no more Overheating and the battery life will also become normal gradually.

I am really happy with Oreo update everything is working buttery smooth in first update. Really impressive. Phone gets fully charged within 2.5 hrs without Overheating and gaming performance has also somewhat improved much less frame drops. I easily can get 1.5 days with mild usage on single charge.

Somethings I would like to see in future upside:

1. Airtel & Vodafone VoLTE support.(Currently enhanced LTE option does nothing. I also checked both the carriers' website but surprisingly none of the Lenovo phones are listed there. Even Micromax made its name to the list.)

2. Wireless Display option in Cast Screen.

3. Treble Support.

4. Seamless update support. (A/B Partition Layout)

5. Needs more improvement in signal reception.

6. And so on...

Treble is supported ?? Can you give some proof? I'm  k8 plus user and i think if treble is there in k8 Note ROM then k8 plus might get that too.

I updated my lenovo k8 note yesterday. After updating I could not reject incoming calls. It seems that the receiving symbol is not aligned properly, because of that there is no space for swiping down to reject a call.

Please look in to the matter.

Thank you.

All those who have performed a factory reset after the update, can you please share a screenshot of Running Services in Developer Options? How much RAM is being consumed by the system?

i am facing 3 issues after the OREO update!

1. Battery Drainage - Battery backup used to be the best part about Lenovo. Now it drains withing 6-7 hours after this update.

2. Charging Time - The charging time increased from 2 hours to close to 3.5 hours to full charge. this is absurd!

3. Heating - the phone seems like a pocket heater after the update and has become increasingly inconvienient!

If any of you have similar issues, kindly let me know.

Everyone's facing the same issues. And I am not expecting Lenovo to release an update to fix them anytime soon! I wonder if their development team is even aware about the problems.
