Ha ha :smileylol:
Lenovo is kidding in every aspect of the device. Its all marketing strategy (flooding eye catchy specifications).
1. Dual camera: :smileylol: you better know the truth
2. SoC: Powerful but poor energy efficiency
3. Stock android: What's the reason for providing stock android if you guys can't provide regular updates? Android O update? You'll get next year, and I have doubt, whether I can tollarate with this dumb till then. And if they decide to provide that sooner than planned, it will be again full of bugs, just like all new phones released by Lenovo.
They aren't releasing the official firmware yet. I have the official firmwares of all phones I used till date (Nokia s40, Nokia Symbian, Samsung, MI) expect this one.
4. Features: Lenovo dumped the UI, good attempt. But lacking some basic features: Blue light filter (aka night mode), Miracast support, font, theme etc.
5. Price: I bought this one in first flash sell by ₹14K. During Amazon's offer period, the effective price is ₹10K. I fell like cheated.
6. Issues and bugs: Endless list
When Xiaomi was new to mobile phone business in Indian market, no one had trust on them. Gradually they were able to gain the trust. Now just look at the sells figure of Xiaomi in India. They are excellent in the basic three aspects: marketing, cheap hardware, customer support. As soon as K8 Note was announced, they also announced Nougat for RN4, provided the update asap, finally moved from flash sell to open sell. Not only that, they released a stock android model with Android One (ota directly from Google).
On the other side, being an old trustworthy brand, Lenovo is loosing that trust slowly in Indian market. People are buying this with great expectations (including me) from Lenovo, but after facing so many issues the expectation is converting into frustration.
Wake up Lenovo, you must keep your customers happy, otherwise in long term, you'll be another 'Nokia': no 1 smartphone maker to struggling in market.
