Lenovo K8 plus: Stuck in Bootloop(Lenovo symbol continuously stuck at)

2019-07-01, 19:20 PM

Hi All,

My device Details:
Lenovo K8 Plus
3gb ram
32gb storage
Country bought from: India
Usage: India

Fastboot Details:
Baseband: Marino.v26, 2018/03/22
SKU: XT1902-2
Device Status: Locked
all else: null(even imei :( )
OS: One that came with the phone, didn't updated it.

I had my Instagram stuck on 30th June, 2019 so I tried restarting the phone.

Steps:
1) Pressed Power button.
2) Selected Restart/Reboot.

From that point onward my cell is stuck at the Lenovo Symbol.

What options I performed/tried to restore it:
1)  Power button + Volume Down => Selected Recovery Mode => Broken Android(it shows No Command code).
2)  Power button + Volume Down => Screen stucks at Lenovo Symbol.
3)  Power button + Volume Down => Fastboot => eMMC option(some wierd Chinese writing along with eMMC(擦拭emmc) at the end) => Selected it => Displays 'emmc can't format please retry'.
4) Windows PC => used adb => used command 'fastboot devices => fastboot reboot' => Stuck at Lenovo Symbol.

Please help me finding solution for this, it is difficult for me to purchase a new phone.

Waiting for your reply.

I got it resolved by getting my cell to the authorised LENOVO Service Centre where they charged me around 500 INR. They basically formatted my phone with the stock Android OREO, unfortunately I was not able to save my data.

I tried to ask Lenovo for the stock Android OS(Marshmallow or the Oreo)  over the call and over the mail but was not given a response, because a person with rookie knowledge to how to get his/her cell loaded into bootloop can get their formatted using the phone stock OS.

They are not even willing to give it over their website where its the consumer's purchase right to have full ownership over the phone they own along with the OS that the phone comes with.

*The above information is best to my knowledge, so be sensible taking any steps.
