Poor network selection in that mobile-

No Auto 2G/3G/4G selection

If you selected 4G, it will show no network where no 4G coverage available unlike other model for auto selection of 3G/2G

very worst mobile

My mobile is K8 plus. Even I'm having same issues, most of the time my data connection is no Internet. I have tried reseting network settings, reseting and settings and also mobile reset, but it doesn't help. Same sim was working fine in other mobiles. Please help me to resolve this issue.

I notice in my k8+4GB .... always network signal up-down but i checked same sim's in Lenovo phab 2 ..there no signal up-down issue & here good network coverage (kolkata) .Why signal up-down problem in k8+???

I did restore factory , network settings reset but not working . Please fix it immediately through system ota update...

I also observed the same issue in my mobile. But when i removed the sim and put it in another mobile, Observed that the issue was not with handset rather it was with the airtel network. After doing research on this around 2 to 3 hours and spoke many times with airtel customer care concluded that issue is with 4g. It was selected as 4g by default as network type inside mobile network menu. I had to change it to 3g as default and its worked flawless. In K8 plus its showing cross mark and 4g as text beside network icon. but if you put your sim another mobile you will be able to see as nomal 4g and network seems fine. But again you will not be able to access network. seems that in K8 plus its an added feature probably which (cross symble)  indicate we dont have access to internet. So here solution is either you need to change the default option to 3g or go to airtel retail and change the sim.

Lenovo k8 plus network issue

My Lenovo k8 plus is not able to catch network in weak network areas whereas my other phone easily does so. Tried same sim in both phones. Also, after coming back from weak network area to strong network area, the phone does not automatically catch the signal. I have to do it manually each time by going to network settings. Please rectify it in next OTA update.

 

SIM tried: Airtel, Jio

Lenovo K8 plus, 3gb version

Android 7.1

Try resetting the network to see if it helps. Go to Settings > Backup & Reset > Network settings reset. Let me know how it goes.

Already tried network reset. Didn't solve the problem. My cousin whom I recommended this phone too has the same problem. Please solve it in oreo OTA. have been a consistent lenovo customer. But dissappointed with k8 plus.

K8 note network issue

It is impossible to use phone.

Urgent help required.

Phone is still under warranty.
