C260 - Keyboard wrong keys

2015-09-10, 4:41 AM

Hi everyone,

My father recently purchased the C260 all in one and I imediately upgraded from 8.1 to windows 10.

for him.....all went to plan.

However now that we come to use the keybard the @ is on the 2 key and the " is on the @ key!

I have done the change of language and regional settings etc and still the same.

Any help on changing these 2 keys would be very much appreciated.

Thank you

x

hi cuddz,

Welcmoe to the Forums.

After setting the language preference to English (US or UK), can you press the Windows key‌ Windows logo key+X, select Control Panel and follow this guide on how to change the keyboard input method to US (or UK) and test.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards

Hi and Thank You for the reply,

Sorry I didn't get back to this sooner but I have been ill.

Anyway, I tried your method, and a few other things and still could not get the keys right.

In the end I telephoned them and they said it was a common complaint with their keyboards, and

the layout is the way the keyboards are made.

I took it back to the shop and got an exchange for a different  computer.

Seems a little silly to me that the keyboards are made wrong at the manufacturers!

Surely they shopuld be getting  a lot of returns on them, and in turn this should make them realise

things should be changed.

Mine is just one sale they have lost... makes you wonder how many more there have and will be?

Thank you for trying to help though!
