Lenovo Ideacentre AIO 700 touchscreen acting funny!

Within the past couple days my screen has been acting like someone is holding the touchscreen down on the top bar. so the option to right click something comes up. it mainly happenes when i'm watching youtube but it's getting worse ( sometimes it takes a few seconds to allow me to move the mouse ) and happening more often. I've tried the calibrate, I've changed the batteries in my mouse, I've tried removing my mouse ( just to make sure it's not that ) but it's still happening. help?

Hello Daphercake

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.

1. Plug the cable into the socket and the machine.
2. Turn power off at the wall.
3. Hold down the power button on the front of the machine for 1 minute
4. Turn wall socket back on.
5. Turn machine back on.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

Re: Lenovo Ideacentre AIO 700 touchscreen acting funny!

Try to download the Video and Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page.

See if these can make a difference, make sure to reboot after an update.

Re: Lenovo Ideacentre AIO 700 touchscreen acting funny!

Hello Daphercake

I had the same problem and seem to have solved it by turning off the touchscreen which you can do by going to:

Device Manager (within Control Panel) -> Human Interface Devices -> HID-Compliant-Touch and select disable.

Did this a week ago and no problems since.

Hope this helps
