B540p Only starts if HDMI is connected

Hi

I have a strange problem with my b540p Ideacentre. If istart the computer without an hdmi cable connected, the screen just doesn't start, it never turns on. However, if I turn of the computer, plug in an hdmi cable in the out port, and start it works (regardless of wether or not the hhdmi cable is connected to anything. What is the deal with this, and how do I fix it?

I have the same problem.  I was connect to LG tv from hdmi out and now I can't turn on my computer without disconnect hdmi. I've tried set from screen resolution and set to 'show desktop only on 2' and when i disconnect and restart then there is blank screen, but when i connect hdmi then it work.  Please help.

Hi Xeeko I know this post has a lot of time on the internet and no one has replied, I wonder if you have found any solution, as I have almost 2 years with this issue without solving or finding a fix...
