I recently bought a Horizon 2 27 i7 which I usually use in Desktop mode with it plugged in. I noticed that the battery power options does not provide any way to conserve battery life by keeping it charged at a lower percentage. This is very common for other Lenovo laptops which have energy management programs to set to stop charing when plugged in at around 60%. I have tried some of them, and they do not work with the Horizon 2. They run, but charging continues up to 100% even though conservation mode is activated.
Is there a solution for this, or any other Lenovo program that will work with the Horizon 2? I am concerned that I will wear out my battery life quickly if it is always plugged in, and I can't constantly plug and unplug it every couple hours all day.
