C540 Touch, Touch Functionality not working

The "touch" ability of hte C540 is not working.  Recently upgraded to Win 8.1.  Are there new Human interface drivers for Win 8.1 for this maching?  What can be done?

While I'm not sure of which drivers you'd need, have a look at the support pages for your machine:

The available drivers will be linked there, along with a wealth of additional supporting materials.

I saw that and they are Win 8 not Win 8.1 drivers.  Was told by support that a factory reset was required - not acceptable!

Go figure . . . restored the computer to a restore point (same point) for the 2nd time, and the touch functionality returned . . . problem solved for now
