Hello, I have a Lenovo C325 all in one with amd e450 1.65MHz, it was having high cpu usage and decided to format the pc(never had been formatted before) and installed the same windows 7 64 bits it had.
After the first boot I cheked the cpu usage and cpu temps, the cpu were from 60% to 100% at idle, and the temp from 59 to 65 which is not crazy high, so I thought i should clean the pc and change the thermal paster, the pc was dirty but not much, the temps stayed the same maybe 2 degrees lower.
Just opening chrome gets 50% or more cpu usage, even windows explorer to look for a file, almost any program gets a lot of cpu usage, is the cpu just too slow?
I've tried updating the drivers from lenovo's website, from amd's website, windows update, tried an ssd to see if the hard drive was the problem, another ram, checked for viruses, checked the power adpater to see if it was deliviring the needed power.
The CPU usage while in safe mode is ok, 2% to 10% idle with only anti virus open(avast open)
