Horizon 2 Multiple Monitor Connection

Recently purchased a Horizon 2 all-in-one. I am attempting to connect a tv as a second monitor but am having trouble. I have tried HDMI to HDMI as well as HDMI to VGA conversion.

Windows key + P gives options for projected display, but clicking on any option simply removes the tab without anything happening.

When I go to display options, it will not detect the second monitor at all.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers.

Nothings seems to be fixing the problem.

Windows 8.1 64bit system.

Please Help!

Re: Horizon 2 Multiple Monitor Connection

hi bradleyjdale,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

Some of the AIO does not have an HDMI out to duplicate its display, But Mostly HDMI in so that you can Plug other devices to the AIO and use its display.

Re: Horizon 2 Multiple Monitor Connection

He's right. The lenovo horizon 2 actually comes with an hdmi in, so it can basically be used at a portable TV as well for your xbox, Blu ray player, ect.

Re: Horizon 2 Multiple Monitor Connection

Hopefully someone comments on the "StarTech.com Slim USB 3.0 to HDMI External Video Card Multi Monitor Adapter (USB32HDES)".

*** Just an fyi that i purchased the 'j5create JUA350 - USB 3.0 HDMI Display Adapter' and spent a week w/ support trying to resolve why my Horizon 2 would not recognize the device. We were unsuccessful so not sure what I am going to do as I need a 2nd display.

Re: Horizon 2 Multiple Monitor Connection

I succesfully used the StarTech adapter, though performance suffers a little bit.
