I recently did the upgrade to windows 8.1 and now my wifi drops to limited or no connectivity all the time. I tried to update the driver but it still drops.
Any ideas? I'm sick of disconnecting and re-connecting.

Can you check under device Manager what WLAN you have on your computer.
Realtek Broadcom or Atheros It should show under Devicemanager / Network adapters and should say like Wireless or wifi 80211.

Download this one first but dont install it yet
Now open Device Manager and rightclick uninstall on your Braoadcom wifi
When presented with a promted to delete driver software, Place a check on that box.
Click on Action on top of Device Manager and click on Scan for hardware changes,
Repeat the steps from the beginning until you dont have a checkbox on the delete driver driver software box
Restart the computer and install the driver I asked you download Earlier.
Reconnect to your wifi and See if that one will work.
Let me know your findings!
