Ideacentre AIO 700 24-AGR BIOS Recovery / No Post

2017-11-18, 9:41 AM

Dear all,

I have a Lenovo Ideacentre AIO 700 24-AGR and following a BIOS update ths sytem shutdown windows, then never started back up again.

It went off and the power light came back on, I left it for 15 minutes but nothing was happening on screen (or via the HDMI output).

So I presume the BIOS update has failed in some way. I have removed the CMOS battery, left for hours, powered back on to no avail.

When I switch on I just get the power indicator come on, CPU fan and if the HDD is connected that spins up too - no beeps or anything.

Have looked through the Hardware Maintenance manual and nothing suggests recovering from a BIOS update failure.

Have seen BIOS recovery methods but wouldn't know if they apply to such a modern machine as they tend to be dated some years ago now.

Is there anyway I can resurrect it?
