Lenovo A540 Installation Problems

I bought an A540 machine brand new yesterday.  When I switched it on for the first time, it comes up with a light blue "Recovery" screen which tells me there is a problem with the error message:




It says to use the recovery tools, but there doesn't appear to a slot on the desktop to insert the  Win8.1 driver disk that came with the machine.


Help please!

Sorry to hear of the problems.  Instead of trying to repair Windows I would just do a One Key Recovery to restore the hard drive since the computer is brand new.   By restoring to a factory default installation may correct the Windows error you are seeing.  Page #24 of your model's User Guide will explain how to do a One Key Recovery.  Here is a link to that guide.....
