I read another post about a BIOS update for the Lenovo C200 AIO which cured the black screen in WIndows when you used the Intel Driver from Windows Update.
However the only drivers listed on the Lenovo support site for the C200 AIO are for nvidia, no bios update or anything else.
Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can download the BIOS update and also where I can download the Intel Driver specifically made for the Lenovo C200 AIO ?

Are you looking in the official C200 AIO driver matrix?
I see one BIOS link there. Not sure if it's what you seek, though.
There are also Intel video drivers listed. Might be worth checking them out.
Hope this helps.

thanks for the reply but thats the 3000 C200 All In One drivers and BIOS is it not ?

The URL I linked is the only Lenovo driver page that I found by searching for "C200 AIO".
When I search Google for "VC2JBUK", I get no hits.
I apologize that I can't offer more.

yeah I did a google search too.
I think its a discontinued model.
it does show up on the support pages if you type in c200 as Lenovo C200 All-In-One but there are no drivers apart from the nvidia ones and the manuals for the PC.

I'm having the same issue, did you manage to solve it @Varkanoid?
Getting peved off with the state of affairs at lenovo.... I can't even email support :/

I dont have it any longer it died.
I found you have to use the Intel & Nvidia drivers for the internal GPU's that Lenovo supply for the PC. If you try and use ones downloaded from Nvidia or Intel website you have problems.
I can see they have a support page now at http://mobilesupport.lenovo.com/gb/en/products/desktops-and-all-in-ones/lenovo-c-series-all-in-ones/... but there are no downloads for it just says unavailable.
sorry cant be of more help. I would just sell it and get something else.

Oh sorry to hear it.
Yeah I'm finding that myself. I've decided to just hide that update from windows update and not bother with it. It's working fine so far, so why mess
I found the drivers, you can get them going through the driver matrix for the 3000 C series. There was no BIOS Update that I could see as well.
Thank you for the reply anyway, I'm just gonna not update it.

Well I have one of these Lenovo with the same problem. I upgraded the RAM and installed a better Windows (Home basic) instead the original and infamous Starter.
The Machine works fine but if I neglect a few minutes the screen saver is activated (default black screen) and no image ever again. Sometimes this happens since the machine starts and is quite annoying.
I thought it was a BIOS issue, but if drivers are then not know whether to use Windows on this machine is a good choice. Do you know if the problem persists with linux?

Hi aradnix, welcome to the forum.
I can't help you out, regarding your question using linux, however here is the End Of Life Lenovo C200 driver matrix:
Fill in the following info under the Device Drivers File Matrix:
Compare what you have installed in your system, to what is listed on the driver matrix.
Also, what happens when you choose "No Screen Saver" in the control panel?
Hope this helps.
