Re: Lenovo ideacentre AIO 700 freezing

Hello Vin111

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

I would recommend that you attempt a factory reset, this would rule out the software issue with the unit.

Note: Please back up all your data as running this reset will delete any data on your machine

1. Turn the machine off and press the recovery button which is located usually next to the power button. If you have a desktop machine you will need to power the machine back on and keep tapping the F2 key.
2. Use the arrow keys and press enter on system recovery. ( Desktop users can skip this)
3. Select “restore from the initial backup” and then “Next”.
4. Click “start” and accept the warning messages.
Length of time can vary depending on the speed of the machine.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

Re: Lenovo ideacentre AIO 700 freezing

Ive been having this problem ever since i bought this computer over a year ago. I also have PC Knowhow and they do not understand what is going on either. I dont know how many times i have phoned them for help and asked me to reset the computer and factory reset it. It still does not work and its really frustrating when either surfing the web or watching videos or playing games it just freezes!!!!

Re: Lenovo ideacentre AIO 700 freezing

I have reinstalled windows many times. It helps for about five days and then it starts to freeze up again.

I will add though, that when I do the factory reset I receive a message at the end that all my personal files were not deleted and I should try again.
