just purchased new Lenovo all in one - it makes a lot of noise which would be the fan from the back - is there a problem with this? or is this normal to have a noisy fan with an all in one?
thankyou - Lauretta

Same problem, AIO is only 2 days old and fan is noisy all the time. Hopefully somone at lenovo can sort this as it seems to be a problem for a few people. First time buying lenovo, not impressed with this noise.

i couldn't handle the noise, could hear it from 15 feet away, really annoying so i brought it back and exchanged it for HP, will never buy lenovo again. everyone has the same problem. DISGRACEFUL LENOVO

Having the same problem, returned on the same day when I bought. After 3 weeks I got a replacement... and the new one is noisy too. I had several Lenovos without a problem but now I am dissapointed.

In the advanced power options (via control panel and power options) change the cooling plan from active to passive and set the maximum processor state to 99% which has little effect on perfomance. These settings are under processor power management in the advanced options...solved the problem for me....

I wrote a review of the machine (in the "featured" section). I commented on the fan noise that is present in normal use.
