S400z - What is this device?

2016-02-18, 14:28 PM

I have Lenovo S400z All-in-One with Windows 7. There is this single device without a driver in device manager:

ACPI\MSFT0101

I couldn't find any driver for this device. System Update doesn't detect it. Any ideas?

I think it is a virtual TPM. Best check with Intel community and do a search.

It is a device only used on Windows 8.1 and higher, and can be disabled from the BIOS if you are running Windows 7.   See the article below on Intel's website for more information.
