Wi-Fi Problem with Horizon 2s after imaging.

Having an issue with a couple of the devices above, I have to set up a small number of them exactly the same so decided to create a master system and use Macrium Reflect to image it, then place those images onto the other machines. The problem is that the Wi-Fi, it will work if I disable and re-enable it in Device Manager but reports an Error 10 (The device cannot start) after every boot, the only way to get it to work is to disable then re-enable it. I have checked the driver version and it is the same as the master system, I've also tried to update the driver, and uninstall the Network Adapter including removing all drivers for it, when re-installed it works fine until the next boot, then the problem is back.

As far as I am aware imaging a device should have no effect on installed drivers or hardware, so I am at a loss.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Wi-Fi Problem with Horizon 2s after imaging.

Hi Fugazi666 ,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Can you try to go to the device manager and click on network adapters.

Left click the wireless card to choose and right click for properties.

Go to  power management tab , uncheck the box for power saving .

Go to the adavance tab and look for roaming aggresiveness / tendency to highest.

Apply and ok then restart abd check if any changes.

Lets see how that works.
