i have a cpl years old c440 an i still like it, but i was thinking of doing a little upgrade now for the cpu i see it has a g2030 an for ram 1 4gb stick of ddr3 1600 mhz. So im wondering if i can upgrade to a g2130 or even a g2140 cpu, i tried downloading the maintenence manuel, but it wouldnt download for me, but another site told me those 2 cpu's have a 96% chance of working for it, so im curious about it, an for ram im really looking at the hyperx 2 sticks of 4gb ddr3 1600mhz, but is it possible to upgrade that to the 1866 mhz?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Those listed in the hardware manual (page 66) was tested on your model.
This discussion can help further as you check your chipset for compatible CPUs.
Then compare the matching CPU from here and from the hardware manual and chipset compatibility for the best upgrade that you want.
For the RAM, it would be better if you stayed with 1600MHz as recommended and simply add another 4GB ram of similar specification to max it to 8GB similar to this post.
Hope this helps answer your query.

I recently upgraded the CPU of an C440 with no dedicated graphics.
Before an Intel Core i3-3220 was installed. I upgraded to an Intel Core i3-3225, which has roughly the same specifications except integrated graphics, which is Intel HD graphics 4000 instead of Intel HD graphics 2500. The i3-3225 is not listed in the hardware manual but still working.
I also upgraded the rear board. Before it had no HDMI output, now it has a working connector.
