2011-09-13, 14:46 PM

hi all ive joined this forum as last hope of getting info i need. I need a factory recovery disc for my idea centre a310 it is running 64bit win 7. i have tried to contact lenovo so many times im sick of it ,i keep getting told the number i need to call is 1800657527 which does not seem to be in service at all.. My a310 power lead fell out during a recovery to try and get rid of the so many glitches i was having, anyway i could not access recovery ,boot mngr was missing etc i tried to get in touch with lenovo for advice but its impossible i ended up having to install a copy of win 7 without all the frills i got with the computer from factory, just to get it up and running (the recovery partition is now gone!) but i would like to put the computer back to its original state .. the computer is only about 7 mnths old              PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi serge. kieran healy, ireland (R.O.I),00xxxxxxxxxxxxxx,ideacentre a310,VCL1EUK, all in one desk top pc57122562,.The operating system is windows 7 home premium. The computer was purchased on the 23-02-2011.     the unit is in my home and is used only as a home computer..... the computer is need of full factory recovery,it would not restart after the power lead dropped out while doing a recovery on it to get rid of exsisting problems(ie start up problems bluetooth problems headphone connection problems ect)..The result was missing boot mngr message.(YOU COULD NOT ACCESS THE RECOVERY PARTITION TO DO A RECOVERY OF ANY SORT).i tried to contact customer support for up to 2 weeks but kept getting ran around in circles with wrong phone numbers etc..i priced the repair with 2 local computer shops and they said it would mean a re-installation of everything and wanted 150 euro for the repair.. i ended up installing another version of WINDOWS 7 and spent ages downloading drivers and is still not back to original working order...          hope this is enough info for you serge rgds kieran

I had a thought which might br relevant, then again not :dunno:

Have you been calling using a mobile phone?  If that's a toll free number it may be being blocked by your service provider.
