Welcome to the Lenovo Community !

I would just let it continue to run.  Some of the updates from Microsoft can take a little while to install.  If you downloaded a large number of updates that may account for the long installation time.

Just adding to what Majestic mentioned, if you get an error that some were unsuccessful, simply try again, and most likely at some point all will be installed.  Patience is required for updating brand new computers. I usually try to do just a few (8-10 or so) at a time manually when updating.

Welcome to the Lenovo Community !

I have you tried to manually check for Windows Updates and then select a small group of them rather than trying to install all of them at once?

Which version of Windows do you have installed?   If it is Windows 7 can you boot into Safe Mode to restore the computer back to an earlier time?
