Re: 4-day old Ideapad K1 10.1 frozen on 'locked' page!

Mine had a similar issue exactly.  Lenovo support asked me to send it in for warranty repair.  They thought the digitizer cable was loose.

@Burger What would that do?

Well, it's really random. Mostly, it works. But there are occasions where I need to wait an hour at least before I could open up the screen again.

It doesn't have any k1 accessories? What accessories? Besides the ones inside the box, I haven't given it any additional features.

@drepka Is that so? I have bad feelings about sending it for repairs here. Usually, they end up much worse.

Would a screen protector prevent touch responsiveness?

My screen became irresponsive after I installed the screen protector from Lenovo. Took it out and everything worked fine again.

That irresponsive! :). And please read all my other post, I'm a big supporter of the K1, not throwing my arms up in the air like half the contestants here....

Could be the Lenovo screen protector itself. Seemed very thick compared to other protectors I have used.

I have to say, since we are rather careful users, not sure we even need a screen protector...

heh... unresponsive is synonym to irresponsive. Maybe its matted and doesnt have the slippery feel you want.

Re: 4-day old Divided K 10.1 frozen on 'locked' page!

I have the same problem. However, I did sent it back to Lenovo for repairs and got it back in two weeks. The first time I turned it back on worked fine for a few minutes then it froze again and it won't unlock when I turned back on.

I am waiting for some answers from Lenovo to find an easy way to unlock the tablet.
