A 10-70L - Virtual keyboard dictionary

2015-10-07, 5:10 AM

Hi,

on my newly purchased A 10-70L I find that the Google virtual keyboard does not provide any suggestions, which I find odd, as I know from all other Android devices that this is done automatically. I checked the keyboard settings, there the dictionary is enabled, yet there is not a single suggestion to my typed letters. In case you do not get my meaning:

when you type e.g. "en", there would be a line above the virtual keyboard where a number of words appear: "engage", "enter", "end", "ending" and so forth, as many as fit there and often also according to context. You just need to tap on the word that you wanted to type, and it's placed where you are typing into. This line is however missing.

I have been on 4.4.4 and have updated to 5.0.1, on both the issue is the same.

Any help would be appreciated.
