2021-04-03, 18:40 PM

I have downloaded the firmware upgrade but screen is showing error. The battery level is 1 and when I plug it in to charge it shows error and switches off after 10 seconds. Then it restarts and goes through the same process continuously.

what can I do?

Welcome to the Community Forums @ Oldernotwiser!

Thanks for posting here!

Try charging the A8-50 (A5500) tablet first for half an hour and then long-press the power key for over 10 seconds to restart.

If that will not work, press the Reset button behind the micro SD card slot cover, but please be noted that this method
should be used carefully.

Those steps can be found on the tablet's User Guide.

Let us know if this will work.

Thanks,

Thanks for the update @ Oldernotwiser!

You may try downloading the Rescue and Smart Assistant tool and connect the device from there to see if it can be re-flashed from there.

Please note that this step will erase all user data that's stored in it.

You can download the tool through this link.

However, should the step still didn't worked, it would be advisable to have the device be brought to any local service providers near your area for it to be inspected especially if it's a possible hardware concern that might require repairs for it to work/function properly again.

Thanks,
