Andoid Market Place Problems

2011-09-07, 3:04 AM

Anyone having problems downloading Applications from the market place?  I click on "install" and it says "waiting to install" and just sits there.  I haven't used the tablet a lot, but it was doing it yesterday.  When I came home, I got it to install some apps, then it started doing the "Waiting to install" thing again.

I too noticed that it has not been installing them but putting them on like a waiting list. But will install them all when you click install.

I did also notice that it just did the same thing to my cell.

So it must be a Market thing and not a issue with the K1.

edit: I guess its safe to mark as solved since its not a K1 issue. I confirmed the same issue with downloading multiple apps on my Cell a Samsung Galaxy Prevail.

Yes I have noticed that as well. I usually will just go into my apps and the app that is waiting to be installed is usually listed at the very bottom. From there you can click on install.

@ankshah, thanks for that tip, which version did you install? I looked around and found 3.1.3, looks like their mobile version but seem to fit the tablet screen pretty well.  You do lose the "staff picks of tablet" section, which wasn't too useful anyway.

Yeah 3.0.27 had the editors pick but I feel 3.1.3 is more stable and loads quicker

I've found you can still access it, just need to go into the app section first. I agree with you on the speed of the updated marketplace plus it is so much cleaner and easy to use!
