Harrymin,

There is no solution for this behavior.  Output dB range is preset.  I'd like it to be louder as well, but this is what we get.

Thanks,
Ricochet

Headset or headphones is a must when using the k1. I think thats a lousy work around or solution but the speakers are really weak.

Has anyone tried tha app Volume+ from the Google app store? I'm not sure if it works with the K1, but others claim to be using it on another brand. They say it works even without root.

Still waiting for my K1, so it's just a thought.

K1_A301_14_14_120109_US is the latest.

This forum is the best place to check if there are new updates as far as I know.

You can see past, current, and soon-to-be-realeased updates here:
http://download.lenovo.com/slates/k1/OTA

But there's no way to distinguish between the current and soon-to-be-relased.
Builds:
01/18/2012 - K1_A301_14_14_120109_US
01//2012 - K1_A301_13_13_111209_US
12/2011 - K1_A301_12_12_111109_US

Hi All,

I have recently bought my tablet from US. It was working very good till past few weeks. suddenly the headphone jack stopped working, eventhough I have connected the headphone it is not displaying the symbol at the bottom right of the screen and when I play any music the sound is coming out through speaker.

Kindly help me.

Thanks in advance

Yes, I can confirm that the app Volume+ works great on my K1.  I can increase the volume without any issues.

Hope it helps.
