Generic keyboards are often designed to work with Android, Windows and iOS. As a result they can have quirks when used with each of these OSs, especially with media keys and keys dedicated to a particular OS.
It's best to look for a keyboard that has been specifically designed for Android. I'm not aware of a Lenovo keyboard that's been designed specifically for the M10 or Android.
Second best is to try a reputable brand like Logitech and whose specs explicitly include Android.
The keyboards most likely to have issues are the cheap generic ones you can find on Amazon or eBay, especially those labelled as "universal." (Then again I have a Bluetooth keyboard that I bought at a dollar store that works well with an Android smartphone. So this is all hit-and-miss.)
Yet again, something else I didn't know. :) I will check and make sure it says Android.
I have a few products from Logitech that work well. I do have an old Harmony remote control that controls my Roku TV and my TiVo Mini. Logitech only allows you to have one configuration program available at any time. You can't download it and save it. You have to work on the original and once it's modified, the old one isn't available. So if you fiddle with it and make a mistake, you can't roll it back to the version that worked. When I asked the community there about it, they told me to use a different email to create a new account, then modify that one. If something doesn't work, you can log in to the other account and download the "old" version. :P Not my idea of the best design.
Thanks for your response!!
