Hi Gmarkall,

You really seem to know what you're doing.

I need the same module files for my A10-70 (A7600-F).

Are you able to complie these please?

Lenovo make the source code available here

http://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/products/tablets/a-series/a10-70-tablet?TabName=Downloads

I've tried to do this myself, but can't figure it out.

Can you help me please?

Thanks

I can give it a try but I don't have much free time at the moment - if I find it problematic I might not be able to do it.

That said, I'm downloading the source code now and see if I can work out how to build the kernel and modules.

You likely won't get very far building it.  The kernel source for all Mediatek devices (not just ones from Lenovo) are incomplete.

They won't build, the source is incomplete, just like all the other Mediatek devices.

Thanks for the reply mcl630.

Can you explain?

Incomplete how? What's missing and is there a complete source available anywhere?

Why would Lenovo make an incomplete source available?

The whole thinkg seems strange to me. Something that is so simple to achieve on a

PC (mounting a network share) is so complicated on an Android Tablet.

Thank you Gmarkall.

I just hope mcl630 is wrong.

I can't be the only owner of this tablet that wants to achieve the simple

function of mounting a network share. This is so simple to do on a PC,

and indeed my last, cheap chineese, tablet.

Lenovo's tablets are not "Android One" devices.
