No I did not work, following the above instructions. I also tried using windows xp 32bit and I was not able to select fastboot driver. I got error "the specified loctation does not contain information about your hardware... does any one has the driver.. acording with the program fastboot driver is not on the lenova/ledrivers location..

Thank you

I was able to get to the unlock or not, but I press the volume key to select unlock, then I pressed the power button as the instruction said. But nothing happen, I hold the power button down, and the system just power off. When rebooted still same as before, the introduction said that will go back to factory and will clear everything. My still exactly the same. Am I doing something wrong.. Thank you

I can say this. "NO" it willnot flash/erase your external sd card.

UNLESS you have got certain things like pictures on the external card that it shows maybe automatically in your Gallery, etc.

I know from personal experence when doing a factory reset on my Acer that I forgot to remove my external sd card and it wiped out all my pictures while leaving the folders behind. While leaving intact my backed up programs, Music and Videos that I also had stored on my external sd card.

I lost alot of unreplaceable photos that day, Out of a stupid mistake of not removing any other drives from my tablet before flashing it.

This is a basic practice in windows that I learned along time ago, Only to forget the basics are all the same when it comes to your files.

Lesson Learned: Always remove any external drive from my tablet before doing any sort of flash operation.
