Does Tab 4 10 Plus support HD on Netflix and Amazon Prime?

2019-11-04, 20:50 PM

i was thinking of upgrading to the Tab P10 but I see that it doesn't support HD resolution from these streaming platforms. As this could be a deal breaker I just wanted to know if it's the same for my current Tab 4 10 plus. thanks!

Welcome to the Community Forums

Sorry for the delayed response, just joined here recently and noticed your post.

Here are the Lenovo devices (tablets) that can play Netflix's HD content:

  • Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro (YT3-X90F, YT3-X90L, YT3-X90X)
  • Lenovo Yoga Tab 3

It is required for said devices to run the latest firmware for HD playback to work properly.

For Amazon Prime, it only supports select devices in HD/Ultra HD for video streaming.

Supported features are based on the specific model and configuration of the mobile device being used. Not all Prime Video titles support all features.

To check if a video or content is supported in HD/Ultra HD through your device, select a video to open its detail page and view all available purchase options (SD,HD...).

Best video quality will be shown once Buy button is selected.

Hope this answers all of your concerns.

Thanks!
