How do I make these messages go away in Settings?

2021-04-08, 4:40 AM

See attached picture. The three messages in the red box can't be dismissed. Or can they? And if so how.

Welcome to the Community Forums @ tz8500!

Thanks for posting here!

Just to ask:

  • What type of Lenovo device are you using?
  • Can you please provide its MTM (machine type-model) number for us to check its specifications?
  • Also, have you already tried to set those three notifications?

Try to set the Night Light schedule, Add another Gmail account and Customize the tablet then see if they will disappear afterwards.

Let us know if this will work.

Thanks,

Adriel_Lenovo

Device TB8705F.

I have set the wallpaper and it still shows there. I have changed the wallpaper and it still shows. I don't want to set the Nightlight or add any other email addresses.

There is no way to dismiss these.

Okay so I have a TB-X606F I know it's not the same device blah blah blah but I have the same issue now I don't know if you guys have the setting on or know how to do it not my problem but I noticed as soon as I turn my developer options off it's gone

Now I know some tech is probably going to say that you know having that on is bad and I totally disagree I'm not going to go into that but you will see before the developer settings were enabled and after

Picture quality it doesn't matter

Not sure why it would do that I'm not a freaking developer or anything like that just got annoyed with it myself I could not tell you why this is I have a buddy that devils in programming he can't even tell me what it is and he makes his own Android apps and knows a lot of crap and he's like I can't even tell you why that is I have no idea but I guess if you want to go through the anointing steps of doing that every time you can to get rid of it it may or may not work on yours either

I also have developer settings on. However, If I turn them off, the messages remain for me, even after rebooting.

Just an FYI, I am not signed in with my Lenovo ID. Not sure if that matters.

I was just giving  my thoughts on it I mean I have a different tablet but the same thing just happened to me it's super annoying yes I realize I have no idea I don't think that lenovo thing to be honest with you does anything.

I know at least with mine it doesn't hehehe I am not say anything against you know customer service but I don't think anybody's going to be able to figure out to be honestly if it's all the answers I've been given are well clear the cash you know on reboot and then you know see if that that's like the solution like almost every answer

I tried everything looking it up on the internet and can't find anything about it anywhere cuz I don't know they call those suggestions or I don't even know what to call them

Find anything out let us know I will too I'm not going to spend a lot of time on it but think about it and have time I will

Thanks for the suggestion. It never hurts to test things out. Hopefully we will get an answer some day. :)

Yes hopefully we will not saying anything against you know Lenovo or their their customer service for or their techs or anything else but I'm not going to get my hopes up to be honest with you you know like most of their solutions to any questions like clear the cache restart your machine which is you know common

They also maybe an Android 10 thing that they have no control over we don't know and like I wish I was a little better knowledge and like that feel but I don't want to hurt my brain LOL good luck
