IdeaTab A3000 Gray wifi symbol

2015-08-10, 21:22 PM

Hi I have an A3000 and for the past 4 or so days, my wifi symbol has been gray instead of the usual blue. In the past, I never really had this issue. I know the gray wifi symbol means that the tablet can't connect to google servers, but I can connect to google play, gmail, and chrome with no problem, but I can't access google docs, drive, and other apps like hulu and netflix. I have tried everything I've seen online. I tried clearing google play store's cache, uninstalled google play's updates, disconnected my google accounts and reconnected them, checked the time and date, rooted my tablet and edited and deleted the hosts file, and did a factory reset. After the factory reset, when nothing  worked, the symbol turned blue for a few seconds and went right back to gray and hasn't changed since. I tried doing all of the steps again with the tablet reset. but still no luck. I recently got a new modem that's faster, but I'm not sure if that's the problem. Any information or solutions you have will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
