K1 ICS for non-techs

2012-08-01, 12:55 PM
Would it be of any value to have a tread for non-technical types who have an interest to install ICS but don't understand the other treads. It would require some help from some of the technical people and Mark to let us knew when it's the right time to install and 'how to' in more basic terms. Thanks in advance for any help/guidance.

YES, please.

I have tried to install ICS many times now and am getting nowhere fast.  I have read through everything many times, think I understand what I've read and yet still no luck.

I think the crux of my problem is that I don't seem to be able to install drivers for the K1. I've downloaded the file repeatedly but can't figure out exactly how to proceed.

Thanks for an ICS for non techies thread.

And it seems that the "solution" keeps evolving, so our techie angel would anve to commit to keeping the instructions updated.

I had the same problem, but by following Mark's instructions on how to install the apx driver I was to do it

Here you go. Tried to spell out things very simple.

Ok, this may sound a bit daft, but what are the benefits of ICS over the current honeycomb that I have on my K1?

I am wary of messing about with this.
