Re: K1 - New System Update 1/18/2012

Folks, we definitely want ICS for our K1's

Midnight EST Wednesday, Motorola/Google rolled out the OTA update for the Wifi Xoom models. I have to tell you, I am loving it dearly. The biggest improvements are to the browser (speed), calendar, contacts and general zippiness. The Xoom was already zippy, but ICS makes if feel like a new machine.

Hopefully, we will get our ICS soon, so hang in there.

Re: K1 - New System Update 1/18/2012

Just got my K1, went to the System Update area, it takes 5 minutes to download an update, says it's installing the update, reboots, and then I go back to System Update and I do the whole process over again.

The version doesn't look like it's incrementing, so there appears to be a problem and I'm stuck in a loop.  Help?  Thanks!

I think all of the updtes are incremental. You probably have 4 or 5 of them to go through by now. That's the same way it worked when I got mine a few days ago. You can always check the current release in the settings menu to see that it changes each time it updates.

Thank you, I was just coming back to confirm that although it seemed like an infinite loop, they were actually incrementing each time.  I am finally up to date!  Thanks!
