Regarding the APX drivers, please check out the instructions in this Knowledge Base article:

http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/IdeaPad-Slate-Tablets-Knowledge/Recover-to-Lenovo-Android-3-2-for-K1-Tablet/ta-p/813633

The APX drivers are actually in the same zip file as the recovery image - please read the instructions (PDF file) that is also referenced on this page.

Note that doing this will wipe the tablet back to the "stock" factory image.  That also means it will wipe any data that was on the tablet.  Unfortunately, if you can't boot at all, there aren't many options for recovering your data.  If you can boot and get your tablet to attach to your PC (using the USB cord) as an MTP device, then you can copy some of your files off, but that's not the same as being able to backup and restore app data (like userids/passwords, preferences, game scores, etc.).  To do that, you really need to have a "rooted" ROM.

Hey There.  I am stuck at the point that Vess has pictured at the bottom of the second page of this thread.  Did you ever get this fixed up and if so, please, How?  Does anyone have any info on this.   I have read through thread after thread and your picture is where I am stuck?  I just don't know where to go from here. Any direction would be deeply appreciated. Thanks

If I recall Vess had a bad download. Try downloading the zip again and verify that the checksums match.

Ok, I have the same problem as above with the exact same screen from the end of page one. I redownloaded the file and verified the checksums matched but it still won't work. BTW, many of khannings file links to goo don't work anymore. But the stock file above is still there. I get only the lenovo splash screen before it reboots. Is this thing shot or what? Thank you in advance for any help you can render.

I suggest you contact Khanning on XDA, as his last login here is in February. He will most likely have the files.
