I would like to hear if anyone has reset the tablet and wiped the cache and still had problems?  I'm just curious because I've had no problems since I did that some time ago.  I'm not trying to exonorate Lenovo as they clearly haven't been very responsive to address this but it seems (to me at least) there is a solution which works.

It's not exactly the same as wiping caches, but while on Lollipop I did perform a factory reset and still saw the same issues.  I think the fact that Lenovo has pulled the OTA for Lollipop is a pretty good indication that it has problems.

I have tried twice on two different A10-70F's with no joy. With the third I updated to the latest KitKat and stopped there. Still have problems caused by Dolby atmos but that is easily overcome with a force close of Dolby.

This is what I did:

Turn off tablet

Press Volume Up button and Power button until tiny instructions appear.  (follow on screen instructions.

Select Boot to Recovery (following on screen instructions)

More options will appear

Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset...When that completes...

Select wipe cache partition...When that completes...

Select reboot system now.

That worked for me, I've had no real issues since.  If you do, I'm sorry and hope Lenovo comes up with a solution

FYI, I did exchange mine for a new one yesterday morning.  I let it update the OS, this time with the intention of stopping with the last version of KitKat.  Interestingly, it looks like Lenovo has pulled the Lollipop updates now, so it automatically said I was up-to-date once two KitKat updates had been applied.

Before the updates, mine showed as having 4x1.5GHz cores, and after the updates, it showed as having 4x1.7GHz cores, so I'm also not sure if there are two batches of hardware as much as something changed in the OS updates.

Based on a single day's usage, the issues I saw under Lollipop don't seem to be present at all under KitKat.  WiFi is solid, no screen flashes, etc.  Obviously that matches what others have said here.  I'll stay on KK until Lenovo releases an LP update AND I see that others have successfully upgraded and verified that it's stable.  My guess is that they won't release another dud after pulling back this one, especially since Lenovo Support themselves recommended going back to KK as the remedy.

Turned on system update just to check. Lenovo has indeed pulled the lollipop update for the A10-70F.

That they pulled the lolpop update is actually really good news, now I can be sure my old mother won't enable updates on the tablet I gave her by accident and basically break it (I didn't root hers and remove the update app since ... well, she doesn't even know what that means).

Lenovo really should take software on their tablets more seriously, Android is very tied to the hardware it runs on an it is their responsibility. A tablet is not like the Lenovo G50-70 laptop I bought last week which came with a Windows-infected harddrive, you can't just pop a GNU/Linux stick into a tablet and magically get it working perfectly. ofc it would be great if their laptops weren't windows-infected on delivery since that probably adds to the price but this doesn't mean the laptop is broken on delivery, just crappy and the rumor is that if you keep it windows-infected then it don't just break the first time you update it. Lenovo really should learn that they must take care of more than just the hardware when it comes to their tablets (and phones). I also think that they should publish the source code of their firmwares so we can fix the bugs they don't fix ourselves. We did buy these tablets, we are NOT renting them.
