Sounds like a hardware problem. Call Lenovo support, you might need to make a warranty claim if that's the case.

Re: Black screen after reset. There is also a physical pin (be careful) reset right by the SD card slot.

It is inside the SD card compartment - very small and adjacent to the actual SD slot where the SD card slides into. However first try long-pressing the power on-off key for more than 10 seconds and see if it restarts. If you haven't tried that I'm suggesting it before poking something small into the pin reset area. If these two steps do not work...I wonder if Lenovo support can remotely start your device.

I don't see a reset access hole on mine at all. I do see a microphone hole at the bottom. Don't poke that!

Yes, you must first open the flap to the SD card slot. The reset access hole is right next to the slot for ths SD card.

gifford...I re-read my instructions. I feel I was clear but people are looking for larger access holes. It's a small tablet. Thanks for adding to this as I was thinking one of users might be thinking I was pulling their leg. I feel the long-press should have restarted the device unless battery was dead.

For me the solution to WiFi issue after upgrade to Lollipop was to do a factory reset. As Justin indicated, wiping the cache is a good idea along with the factory reset.
