Microsoft Outlook

2021-01-29, 17:44 PM

New M8 tablet running Android 10 and need to use Intune Company Portal and Microsoft Outlook for work e-mails. E-mails will sync for a few hours and then stop. Need to restart tablet to sync again. I discussed with my work IT to no avail. I have factory reset, reset account, delete account, cleared cache, and rebooted. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Have you already tried to check if there's an available update for the MS Outlook app?

To check that, go to Google Play store and look for My apps & games.

 

Also, does this also happens when connecting the Tab M8 through a different WiFi network?

 

If it does, it could be that this might be an in app issue itself and may need to be reported to Microsoft Outlook app support.

It can be reported by pressing the Help & Feedback button through the app itself.

Could I please ask if your IT Team have advised if they are applying any Outlook App policies via InTune to you or your device?  

 

May I also please ask if the problem is present with Outlook when your device is not enrolled in InTune and you have configured it to connect (If you company policy allows this).

There is a new MS Outlook update, so I will try that. I have only tried the M8 on my home WiFi network. I do not have this issue on my Samsung Galaxy S6 phone which is connected to the same WiFi network. Thanks.

Link your Hotmail to Gmail and use a Gmail app, I did that years ago. Works tremendously. Highly recommend, cheers.
