Phab2 WiFi Issue

I recently acquired a Phab2 (regular model PB2-650Y) and have been waiting delivery on cases and screen protectors from China before putting it into full service.  I took the phone downstairs away from my router and saw a huge signal drop in 2.4ghz unlike any phone I've ever had/seen.  In doing measurements I see a signal level around 25db less than other phones using the same router, making it nearly useless.  The number listed for U.S. support for the phone doesn't work - it's only for computers and tablets, and the number I was given by that person routed me to a Comcast support line.  Is there any assistance available for this device?  

 

I should add that I did a full reset on the device with no effect.  Called Lenovo support a second time and was informed there was no factory service available on the PB2-650Y, only on the 650M/Pro, and was told to return to reseller.  When I asked about phones being sold directly through Lenovo support, was advised I should call back sales for a replacement.  This is all the support available?

Hi TVCCS,

 

Not sure if it is the same in the states as it is here, but a lot of companies do not actually repair the phones, they just replace them. This could be why they advised you to contact the sales team.
