Here is a Guide I cooked up really quick. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29350833#post29350833

There is nothing as far as FAQs yet because I didn't know which questions/answers to add.

Check it out.

I have a long version of a FAQ done. I went through and answered the questions I saw. From here, individual articles could be written that expand upon each of these answers.

Edit: Format transferring has forced me to convert this to an image.

Do you mind if I steal this and add it to my thread on XDA?

Edit: Thanks for the link, but I decided against using an image. Check out what I did and see if you like it though.

YES.

That is to say, feel free to add it.

Use the image version, it looks nicer.

So, has anyone come up with a reliable way to spoof Google Play?

I haven't tried any of the rec's on Page 7 or Page 12, but they didn't sound successful.

Thank you Khanning and Mark.  This is some nice Ice Cream.

Thanks

Paul

Hi rick323,
I followed your method for installing Khanning's Rom thorugh windows and it worked perfectly. I also was getting the "formatting partition 12" error msg. I am so glad I found your post in this thread.
Thanks!

I just want to add that I've followed these threads for the last couple of months, I haven't added anything because I didn't feel I particularly had anything new to add to the conversation. Major kudos to Lenovo for working with the developer community, especially Khanning. There may have been a lot of complaining about how long it's taken but we've got there in the end and the result is that it's taken a single flash for me, install everything from the play store that would install and the backed up apk's that wouldn't. Total time couldn't have been more than 30 minutes to being back up and running with all apps I need installed. Cheers guys, much appreciated.

My little experiment tells me that there are currently no perfect receipe to spoof the K1.   I noticed that most people sent their tweaks for the build type and brand,  but few told about the right ro.fingerprint to use.   Apparently,  this is the critical one.   On my side,  putting K2 instead of K1 aleviated the problem except for the *bleep* Maps,  Street and Chrome which nothing seems to make it happen.

Anyways,  don't spend any more time on this.  If you look a little backward on this thread,  Kreg said he's been able to resolve ALL incompatibilities on his working build.   He's a few issues away from a new AOSP build.   This one should be the real one for us.

Yeah, that's what my post said.  I used the full Xoom ICS build.prop but still had to side load chrome/maps.  My banking apps and News360 also are "incompatible" so I'm looking forward to Kreg's new build.

Just wanted to report 2 more bugs I found today. First, I can't factory reset and second, the enable balanced power under display in the settings doesn't work (it unchecks itself as soon as I quit the settings).
