I went and installed 11.1.115.20 and Firefox is the only browser that seems to see Flash installed. Dolphin wont let you turn it on in the settings. It works alittle better than what I had before. No flickering at least. It still crashes on some items. Maybe CM10 lets it work better than AOSP.

Well, as Adobe has said, there will be no support for the Flash browser plug-in on JB and future releases (although it looks like they will still be supporting Adobe Air, which may provide some of the games you're interested in).  So as far as browser support, it will continue to get even more unstable over time.  And given lack of Adobe support, browsers will probably stop enabling it as an option.   I use Boat browser (as well as Firefox), and so far flash seems to work fairly well in that.  As you say, Dolphin does not support it, and neither does Chrome nor Opera.

Re: [ROM][JB][AOSP] Lenovo Ideapad K1

Useful tip I discoved today:  I noticed that my tablet startup seemed to be taking a lot longer than it used to, so I did some investigation and found that a process called the Media Scanner that was eating up a bunch of CPU time during system startup.  It turns out that this process scans all the folders on internal storage (other than hidden or system areas) and on the external SD card for any kind of media file (mp3, pictures, movies, etc.).  I had a couple of large folders of files on my external SD card containing app backups from Titanium Backup and a previous backup app that I had used, so I realized the scanner could be taking some time to go through those folders.

Well, it turns out that if you put an empty file with the name ".nomedia" (note the initial period) in a folder, then the media scanner will skip the scanning of that folder and all of its subfolders.  And sure enough, after having put such a file in several folders that I knew contained no media, and rebooting, the boot process (i.e., the time until all apps are loaded and stable) went much faster.

I assume that many people who have done these ICS/JB upgrades might have similar large backup folders for their apps, so I thought this was a tip worth passing on, to speed up your startup time.

I tried the boat browser and it did the same thing as firefox when trying to play a flash slot machine. I just shuts down the browser and goes back to home screen. The ones I really like I play on my computer anyway. The animation is smoother too on the computer. I guess the developers will just have to stop supporting flash and develope games without it.

Did you change the WiFi Advanced settings to set "Keep WiFi on during Sleep" to "Always"?  If not, that's a well-known problem known as the "Sleep of Death".

I believe you can install the Key Layout fix (for Home button) onto the CM10 ROM by downloading the fix zip file (it's no longer on goo.im, but you might be able to get it from here: http://www.mirrorcreator.com/files/2WLYZBQU/ ) and installing it via the CWM menus.  However, it sounds like Krook is also planning to come out with another update soon (by the end of the week?), and I believe it will include this fix, plus hopefully the fixes for USB storage and Bluetooth.

Someone has also reported that you can get the Home button working temporarily by holding it down when powering on the tablet, until the Lenovo logo disappears from the screen.

Caveat: I haven't tried either of these, since I don't really use the "Home" button.

Wow!!  Krook just released v6 of the JB CM10 ROM, and now Bluetooth is working again, the Home button is working, and the rotation lock switch is working!  Plus integrated overclocking for the more adventurous.  The most completely functional advanced ROM for K1 yet!!

Has anyone managed to get this yet? The combination of multiupload.nl and iLivid has me stopped. I keep getting "problem in server" error message, then iLivid stops working (windows error message).

Frustrating, to say the least.
