can anybody please post the link for krook's cm10 v6. i'm still on khanning's jb aosp, and from what i've read, it's worth upgrading to cm10 specially since bluetooth doesn't seem to be working on my tab.

has a detailed post - Just follow along the nvflash version and you'll be fine. You can upgrade directly from stock HC to JB - http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/IdeaPad-IdeaTab-Slate-Tablets/ROM-JB-AOSP-Lenovo-Ideapad-K1/m-p/867073#M11643

Note that in my earlier post, the "androidfileshare" server is no longer available (taken down at the beginning of October).  So you'll have to download from goo.im.

Re: [ROM][JB][AOSP] Lenovo Ideapad K1

Have been following this thread regularly and have downloaded krook's v.6 however I noticed that there's to be a v.6.1 coming out "soon." Since my flash with v. 6 aborted I'm wondering if I ought to just wait for 6.1. Any way to find out when it will be out. (Not as long a wait as we had for ICS from Lenovo ;-)

Also, I'm wondering why my flash of v.6 aborted. In recovery it asks to install from SD card, but there's also an option to flash "update.zip" Sinc the file I downloaded is K1wifiJB....dot.zip is it possible that renaming the file to update.zip and trying again to flash would make it work?

I just came back from XDA developers site and they actually let me post a reply with a similar query to what i've outline above. Krook's tutorial doesn't say anything about  renaming but if that's what CWM is looking for it seems like the logical solution.

I did the v6 using 'install zip from sdcard' using the original file name K1Wifi_CM10_Flashable_v6.zip and it went through fine.

The only difference between 'install zip from sdcard' and 'apply sdcard:update.zip' is that the former allows you to select the file from any folder within the sdcard whereas the latter needs an 'update.zip' file in the root directory. So renaming the file and placing in root directory should technically work too.

However, in your situation I presume the file is corrupted causing an abort, were you able to confirm md5? Try downloading the update again - I used xda user detroid's thunder7 link for WiFi -

http://kuai.xunlei.com/d/RUCVAPRSMWKJ - WiFi version (md5 35487a49a4a997c4faa0a4439c296e3c)

(click on the file name and it should begin - My first attempt failed, second one went through and showed a significantly lower MB in dowload complete page but file property showed actual size and matched md5. Painfully slow though)

Hope this helps with some info

Problem was an incomplete file download. I have the new ROM up and running but suspect that I may have had the same problem with gapps as Play Store, GMail, Chrome not working. Off to XDA to re-download gapps.

I have had JB installed for awhile and pretty much everything is running smoothly and without problems.

Thanks for all the work!!!

The only question I have is - has anything been figured out regarding the MAC address issue?
