Setting up new user - screen goes white

I'm trying to set up an additional user in my kids name on my Lenovo m10 plus tablet (purchased yesterday). I go through all the steps and select which apps I want them to see and then the screen just goes white. My option is to press the back arrow but no option to proceed. I tried multiple times now and even restored factory settings and went through the whole process again. 

Getting quite frustrated and thinking of returning the tablet.

I'm sorry to read that you're unable to create an additional user into the tablet. Just to ask, how did you reset it to factory settings, is it through the tablet's Settings itself? If yes, I would ask you to reset it again, but this time, inside the Recovery Console menu instead. You may watch this video to see how it can be done. Make sure to create a back-up first to avoid permanent data loss. Once done, complete the initial setup again, then see if you can now add a new user successfully. By the way, see to it that it's also updated to its latest version.

Should you get the same result, please reach out to the Lenovo technical support in your region for further assistance. The number to call them is 877-453-6686 and their operating hours are Monday - Sunday: 8AM - 8PM EST. By contacting them, they can review the issue further if it requires service due to a hardware defect. Please provide the tablet's serial number when asked so they can check its warranty, entitlement, and available repair options.

What Lenovo device do you have? You may provide its MTM number (Z2BG0003US or Z1T9000VUS ) here so we can check its specifications. For now, we would also advise you to perform the same steps we provided here to see if it resolves the issue.

Hallo,

 

When we setup M10 tablet we het white screen. That is after wifi setup. We have two the same models and the have the same problem. Production probleem of this model?

And read that must go back production settings. Way? I started with production setting if start with production settings.
