TAB3 8Plus, connected but can't reach web sites

Hi,

I need some help. After a factory reset because of problems to reach web sites my Tab is configured, but I still can't surf the web. I get this message: ERR_ADRESS_UNREACHABLE.

What is strange is that, using another provider (my neighbour), I can surf this site and many others...???

My provider says "Everything OK on our side, try Lenovo support".

Any help appreciated.

Android 6, brownsers Chrome 89 and Firefox 87

France, provider Free.

Works with provider SFR

Thanks for posting here!

 

Just to ask:

  • Does this only happens when visiting/browsing a specific website?
  • How about when using apps, are you also getting this issue?
  • Does this only happens when using a specific web browser?

Try clearing the browser's cache or data first then browse the site again.

Also, try to check if there's an available update to your device and download/install it.

 

Update us how it goes.

Hi Adriel,

My tablet and Chrome are updated.

I did clean cache and data, no change. 

- It happens when visiting most of sites. Trying right now, I found 2 sites where I can surf normally : "dealabs.com  and tom'sguide.fr"

- I tried with 4 apps, I cannot use them; I get some pages (a few) and then no answer or "check your connection".

- I did browse with Chrome and Firefox.

And when I use another network it's still working, brownsing and apps...  :-(
