This seems to have fixed the issue for me.

Settings -> Network & internet -> WLAN - Click on your Wi-Fi network to open "Network details" -> Change "Privacy" to "Use device MAC".

Tried it but no joy.  This is becoming a real nuisance.   This occurs, mostly, in my bedroom.  A phone two laptops and a smart TV have no issues, just this tablet.

Glad I am not the only one with this problem.  I thought I was going mad.  I have tried all the suggestions made without making any difference.  It is obviously a Lenovo hardware or software issue and it would be respectful of them to address it.

As Lenovo is, pretty much, ignoring this issue, I believe that it is hardware (bad chip or antenna?). There is zero chance that they will fix it So, we live with it or buy something else.

hi there

so Lenovo were no help  - so why have a forum if you are going to just ignore it.

So after throwing the tablet across the room in frustration - I wud connect wifi and before i cud even open Netflix it wud disconnect - i had a brainwave.

My internet modem is 2ghz and 5ghz WIFI enabled

I enabled the 2ghz wifi and connected the Lenovo Tablet to the 2ghz wifi connection and it has not dropped out  - yet - fingers crossed

Im lucky my Modem supports both 2ghz and 5ghz running at the same time

@Spinoac : thanks a lot, your solution did fix my wifi connectivity issues. I'm using Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab YT-X705F brand new ( just got it yesterday), and it seemed very weird that Everytime I was watching a video on YouTube the connectivity dropped every 10 seconds, as well as the video quality switching to auto.  I entered in  the admin panel of my router and enabled 2.4 Ghz as you mentioned, then connected via WiFi to the new 2.4 Ghz network. Works like it should work normally :)I can watch full HD videos on YouTube without pausing every 5-10 seconds to load or losing the quality to auto.

It seems that there are problems with the 5 Ghz connectivity.

I had thought to do this but, as I am using a mesh system, there is no 2.4 SSID to connect to.  Then I realized that I could turn on the Guest network, set it to 2.4 only and use that.  Seems to be the winner!  So, it appears that this table's issue is 5MHz.  I know 5 is weaker than 2.4 but none of our other TV's, laptops or phones have the dropout issue.
