Hi Ala,

I'm on TB-X606F_S300091_201215_BMP too.

Thought there was another one in 2021, but I was wrong.

I have the classic issues with apps (not) running in the background (although mail through fairmail works just fine, other apps don't) plus the issue with the cover (when I set the screen to never go off automatically, after some time I have closed the cover, it goes back on by it self and that's why I thought I had a battery drain).

I am in Colombia. I have a couple of Lenovo laptops and like the products. I have been looking at the Tab 10.1 and the Samsung A7 and A 10.1 to replace a very old Samsung Tab 2 10.1 tablet. I have been following this forum and the Samsung forum. The upgrade problem here bothers me and on the Samsung, you cannot move apps to the SD card, forcing a more expensive 64GB or much more expensive 128GB model. I don't use the tablet a lot and justifying the expense of the Samsung was not in the cards. I was in a local Dept store yesterday and saw a M10.1 model TB-X306F for 599,000 pesos (about $175 US) including their 19% import tax and IVA tax. It is the 2GB/32GB RAM WITH Android 10!!!! So, I bought it. It doesn't say what version of 10, but it works fine. I have a Samsung phone with Android 10 and this lacks some of the features. I don't know if it Lenovo vs Samsung or different versions of Android 10. I cannot get the SD card tray open to install the SD card, but hopefully I can transfer apps to the SD card as I do on my Android 10 phone. But so far I am pleased and with the apps that I use now arm only using about 11GB of the 32 available. But I still saved about $100 US on the price over the Samsung.

Thanks!  I appreciate your response.  I may hold off on installing it.  I felt lucky when it upgraded and it didn't break anything.  I don't want to test my luck a second time. 🙄

@GeorgeFeb and other users with Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Plus model

Please check your device microphone with inbuilt sound recorder app whether you are also facing the same issue or not.

For me it seems that my device noise cancellation microphone has been disabled. So even in silent environment it gives noise. For me when I am on call the other person on call sometimes says whether I am in a busy environment.

Do check and confirm with your devices too and reply here in forum.

What the hell is going on since 3 months. Will the team solve thise issues or they have accepted their defeat and now leaving their customers with their faulty software? And @Ala_Lenovo no proper report from you what the hell is going out there. And now even you aren't answering in this thread. How long will you want us to wait, Till we are about to trash our devices after years?? Just simply say that these issues won't be solved now as our engineers aren't capable to do so, you all are decieved and now forget about it and stay happy with your faulty device, it won't bother so long... I won't come in the forum and others might too after a simple answer from you. I think not more than a month is required for so. You are wasting our time since months just with hope that we get to know by you that the issues has been solved. Just simply say no if team can't do so, I for sure won't rummage around the forums. And @Ala_Lenovo I want a clear cut reply from you by Tuesday ie 9 February 2021.

And no security patch update after September on my device TB-X606V.

Nice to hear from you again.

Also, I appreciate that you are now apparently interested in reading the message I posted on 22/01 (... yet another three weeks of Lenovo driven "torture"), see below. As of now I'm still on the version mentioned therein (... 200923 ...) and my system tells me that I am on the current one. I was, however, "offered" the newer package (... 201215 ...) at least twice, but I decided to stay on the first crappy software, aka "upcrap", the "original" one!

Around that time I've also asked you for information re the app "Lenovo tablet manager" that disappeared with your original attack.

Finally, since your communication with your "blue collar" depts seems to be stuttering, you might have more luck in corresponding with Lenovo's "white collar depts" about our repeated requests for a generous compensation package (vouchers etc.) in "exchange" for all the problems that Lenovo has created.

Please keep in mind that even if the Android market is a niche market for Lenovo, it could still be big enough to ruin your reputation ...

May I ask for any information regarding the whereabouts of the second "upgrade" named ... 201215_BMP?

I've never installed it on my device (despite being offered), since I was more than happy with the first upgrade ... Recently, I've co-incidentally seen that I am on the current version, as my tablet tells me that there is no upgrade for me (anymore), and the installed version "TB-X606F_S300007_200923_BMP" actually is the current one.

Has the second version been withdrawn by Lenovo?

Will our wait for a upgrade fixing all the issues reported in this thread ever end? Are there any plans to publish a useable version? Are the tech teams you are corresponding with actually working on finding a solution for your customers or have they already "moved on to new pastures"? Do these tech teams even exist or are we custumers and our problems with your upgrade just here for your and Lenovo's amusement?
