Tab P12 need to turn off Chrome extensions

When I try to connect with Netflix, Netflix tells me that I need to turn off Chrome extensions.  When I search how to do this, I'm told to click on the word "more" to the right of the address bar.  My Chrome does not have this word "more".  If I click on the three dots, there are no options for turning off extensions.  What do I do?

Re:Tab P12 need to turn off Chrome extensions

Hi JeffreySnare,

Thanks for inquiring at the Lenovo Community!

To disable Chrome extensions on your Tab P12, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click on the three dots (More).
  3. Click on More tools.
  4. Then click on Extensions.
  5. Here, you can turn off any extension you want by clicking on the toggle switch.

By the way, see to it that your tablet's Chrome browser is updated. Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
Adriel_Lenovo

Re:Tab P12 need to turn off Chrome extensions

Adriel,

Thanks for the reply.  BUT, when I click on the three dots, there is no menu item for "more tools" or "extensions".  Also, I don't see a way to force an update of chrome.

Re:Tab P12 need to turn off Chrome extensions

Thanks for responding JeffreySnare,

May I ask, were you able to launch Netflix (app) before on the tablet? If yes, were there any changes that's been made on the device before it also happened?

Since you can't find the "Extensions" option on your tablet's Google Chrome, see if the additional steps on this link would help.

Please tell us how it goes this time.

Re:Tab P12 need to turn off Chrome extensions

Boy, do I feel dumb!!!  This is the first tablet I've owned.  I finally realized that I had to install apps for the streaming services.  I thought that I should just go to their websites like I do with my laptop.  All is well now!  Thanks, everybody for all the attempts to help.
