Same trouble with Poweramp.

After Poweramp uninstallation DolbyAthmos app cash must be cleaned through application manager.

Re: Tab2 A10-70 Sound

I had the same problem in Lenovo TAB2 A10-70l on Kitkat 4.4.4 and I fixed it without factory reset :)

instruction:
- root device
- install system app remover -> unistall dolby apps
- reboot device
- open system app remover -> restore dolby apps in recycle bin
- reboot device

I hope this helps someone else...

Same problem.  No help from Lenovo.  Guess it's time to return it for a refund.  Glad I bought from a store with a decent return policy.

This finally worked for me after reading all the posts.

Kitkat 4.4

Try to uninstall Google Play (won't happen but you can revert it to orignal factory settings and delete all updates).

Force stop Dolby.

Force Stop Dolby Atmos.

Reboot tablet.

So far this has restored full factory sound (loud and clear).

I am not going to open Dolby Atmos at all.

Thanks,

Thanks all, especially Piechnat, this worked for me.

All Updates including Lollipop!

Root with Kingroot

Uninstall both Dolby Apps with System App Remover (ROOT) <--- I used the one by Jumobile

Reboot

Open System App remover, restore both from recycle bin

Reboot again!

It was much louder now but the Dolby Icons are gone.

I don't mind it as I do not intend to fiddle with Dolby ever again, now that it works!

You can still open the Dolby settings by opening the built-in Lenovo Music app and looking for "Sound Enhancer" in the options.
