Tab3-7 touchscreen lagging and not working correctly

First of all my tablet works wonderfully and it's amazing.

 

My issue is that the touchscreen is 1.not always registering taps

2. When I'm doing line with my finger or my pen(which works perfectly on my phone and is not an active pen ) the lines are straight(instead of accurate curves), not accurate and laggy.

I've tried resetting my tablet and downloading the touch screen calibration software but to no avail.

Any way I can fix these issues.

By the way, does this only happen to some portion of the screen?

 

And do you also use the tablet while it's being charged? Using the tablet while charging will impact the actual amount of charge a tablet will receive. Ensure at least 4 hours for a full charge.

 

Try to enter the tablet's test mode, to do that: dial ####1111# and test if the entire touchscreen is working properly.

 

You may also have the tablet be placed in safe mode.

Press and hold your tablet ’s power button for a few seconds until Android prompts you to turn off your tablet.

Next, tap and hold Power off for a few seconds until your tablet asks you to confirm that you want to enter safe mode. Tap OK, and your tablet will restart into safe mode.

 

Update us how it will go through.

Hey! I don't know how to dail from my tablet but I did try booting into safe mode and from what I can see it definitely improved the touch sensitivity.

But the touchscreen still doesn't work as good as touchscreens on my other devices

Just to ask:

 

  • Does this only happens when using a specific app/performing a specific task on the tablet?
  • What happened when you've performed the test mode on the tablet by dialing ####1111#?

Thanks for the response.

 

Upon checking on your device's complete specifications, the device that you have doesn't have the dialing feature/capability.

 

With this, it would be best instead to download the Lenovo Help app on your device since it does have a diagnostics feature that will allow you to test your tablet's touchscreen.

i tried the touchscreen testing feature in the lenovo help app and from what i can see all the areas are working but sometimes i need to tap a few times on a square to register it
